Launched back in 2015 as Yellow, Yubo is a social networking app targeted to younger audiences between the ages 13 and 25 to socialise, meet new people, join friendly communities. Using live streams as the main mode of communication, the app does not have a “like” option. While you can still swipe on other people’s profiles, the app mainly focuses on building tight-knit communities between viewers and streamers. Instead of liking other people based on their looks, Yubo encourages its users to get to know one another through shared interests and similar hobbies.
The app is designed to let users socialise in a group setting. The viewers can send comments and interact with the streamers. The streamers, in turn, get to meet new people and make friends. This is very much different compared to the “follower” format of other social networking apps.
Yubo also offers paid special features to enhance your experience better. Are these features worth the money? Furthermore, is this app a must-try or something you can pass over? Find out in our in-depth review below!
