The Jackd app ★★★★★ 3.0/5
- Taking screenshots are not allowed
- Available for iOS and Android users
- Design is up-to-date and aesthetically pleasing for all ages
- The app has occasional glitches
- Can be used simultaneously with other applications
- Available in ten languages
The app's interface is user-friendly and its functions are simple, making them easy to find and use. You might find some ads if you are a free member, but they are only limited to banner ads at the bottom of the screen, so they don't disturb your browsing. As a security measure against harassment and hate crimes, Jack’d has a new tool that disables the screenshot feature while the app is open on your device. The app is available in ten languages.
The SMS Verification does not respond fast so you need some time to wait before you receive it on your phone. But after that, you can proceed using the app already. The app crashes sometimes and has occasional glitches.
Our field test ★★★★★ 3.0/5
"Jack’d is really more of a hookup app. Most of the guys I met on here have used it as such. Let's be honest, would you really be able to find friends only with the chat feature and profiles with thirst traps photos? Maybe if it had a social timeline/feed (like Facebook) where users could post anything and anyone can comment, it would work like the social networking app it tries so hard to be." - Rudy, 35
I've been struggling with my sexuality ever since I was 14. Now, I am 23 and starting to accept the real me, despite what other people say. I found this app and I appreciate my self more with the help of the friends that I've met here. Found some for flings, but I am most thankful now for boyfriend. We met a few months ago in the app. I didn't even have a premium membership that time! -Hanes, 23

Jackd FAQ
What does Jack'd do?
Jack’d is a location-based dating app for gay, bisexual, and curious men to find fellow men.
Is there a Jack'd for Windows?
Yes. You'll find the app in the Windows Phone Store.
Why is Jack'd blocking my device?
You've either deleted your account, Jack’d deleted your account, or your device previously had a Jack’d account and it was deleted.
How do I unblock my device?
After deleting your account, you have to wait 30 days before your device is unblocked and you can create a brand new account.
How do I see who viewed me on Jack'd?
You have to upgrade to Jack’d Pro. You will see this on the left toolbar on the app.
Can you use Jack'd on a computer?
No, it's only available as a mobile app.
Why can't I login?
You either provided the wrong email and password, Jack’d deleted your account for violating their terms, you haven't updated to the latest version of the app, or their servers are currently down.

Swipe left to see the menu, select "edit profile", click the gear icon on the top right, and scroll to the very bottom where you'll see "logout".
How do I uninstall Jack'd?
Go to the app store of your phone, look for the "installed apps" section, select Jack’d, and click the uninstall button.

Why can't I upload pictures?
Check your internet connection, make sure your new photo is larger than 200px by 200px, uninstall and reinstall the app, try uploading through a different source, or try again in an hour in case the Jack’d servers are temporarily down.
Why can't I take a screenshot?
Due to the increase in LGBT hate crimes, Jack’d has disabled the screenshot feature for all mobile devices. Screenshotting can be a harmful tool: it can be used by vindictive men to take note of your details and plan an act of violence or they could post your private photos on Facebook/Twitter/etc., hence it was banned.
How can I contact Jack'd?
You may contact them at media@jackd.com.
Are my private photos accessible by the public?
In 2019, Jack'd had privacy complaints about private photos being shown publicly on the app. Jack'd has fixed this bug and paid a $240,000 settlement for the complaints. Since then, Jack'd has optimized its security measures to prevent this from happening again. No, your private photos won't be accessible to the public.
