Exclusively on DatingScout: online member numbers for dating services are usually far off, so we estimate how many people are really on Hily from traffic data and interest, updated monthly, with history. Last data update: September 2026.
Although the site claims that it has 20 million registered users, it still has a relatively smaller population compared to other similar dating apps. Based on the gathered data, the app has around five million active members in the 19 countries where it is available.
Like any typical dating site and app, males dominate the site. Nonetheless, there is still a big chance that you'll meet someone around your area since the population is still relatively big.
Many members share stories and live videos, active comment sections, and active messaging. Although matching doesn't happen as often as you would imagine, this also depends on the compatibility based on the test.

Our field test ★★★★★ 4.0/5
I am using the app for almost a month now. So far it's good. I've matched with a few people who are all nice. However, I'm not sure about the compatibility since nothing have worked yet. The streaming and stories makes me entertained so I don't get tired of waiting. - Mara, 26
I'm a big fan of this app before because of the great features and nice members. However, when I started using it again, there's a big difference and I find myself unhappy. There are some rude members, all I meet are just looking for hookups. Some are not so decent anymore. -Harold, 28
