Joining BuzzArab is made easier by their social media channel tie-up. To create a profile, you must connect your existing Facebook or Google account to proceed. The site will not post anything on your account, but it will take some of your public information to add into your profile with your permission.

After successfully signing up using the social media buttons, BuzzArab will ask you to confirm some of the reminders about the site. Since it is a religious dating site for Muslims, there are a few prohibited things that it wants you to know such as:

• Use improper, racist, degrading or abusive language
• Use photos that are not yours
• Enter incorrect information in your profile such as your age or marital status
• Create more than one profile
• Use BuzzArab for any reason except to get to know other people
• Ask everybody you communicate with for their phone number or contact information
• Send your phone number or contact information to everybody that you communicate with

The site will also ask for your personal information such as your gender, relationship preferences, username, birthday, location, and the languages you speak (English, Arabic, French, Spanish, German, Swedish, Italian, Dutch, or Turkish).

The site will also ask you to do a required verification process before you can add more details to your account such as:

• Relationship status
• Ethnic background
• Religion
• Education
• Occupation
• Physical attributes

Getting in touch with other BuzzArab member is free and simple. You can use the search tool to find more members, or you can browse your feed for recommendations of people who match your preferences.

To send a message, just open a member's profile and scroll at the bottom page. You will then find a blue button that says "Send Message" which will give you a pop-up where you can type in your message.

If you don't yet wish to contact them but like the person, you can add the profile to your favourites list. The button is located right beside the message button.

All profiles will have to undergo verification. You have two options to veriify your account:

Facebook: The site will verify that you are at least 18 years old, and that you have at least 30 friends on Facebook. It will not post anything to your Facebook nor store your friends list or contact them in any way.

Through payment: Make a payment of $1 USD to verify your profile. This payment is one time only and will not be repeated.

The site requires verification of profiles because as the community grows, it needs to take steps to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience. Asking members for verification helps to ensure that each person is a real person, and that each person has only one profile.

Most profiles are reviewed and activated within minutes, however, it can take up to 12 hours for the site to review your profile.
